Logic Information Systems is a fast-growing project-centric consulting organization and an Oracle Retail implementation partner, which specializes in solving our clients’ business problems with expert technology implementations and custom software development and integration services.

As a Forecasting-as-a-Service Onshore Lead, you will be responsible for developing, operation and growing Logic’s newest service offering – Forecasting-as-a-Service. The Onshore Lead role will require you to manage a team of onshore and/or offshore forecasters to provide high-quality forecasting results to our customers. Additionally, you will also be required to establish and maintain a trusting relationship with our FaaS customers through regular and ad-hoc meetings.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage onshore and/or offshore teams to ensure agreed-upon service level targets are achieved
  • Own the relationship with the FaaS customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Lead scheduled and unscheduled meetings with FaaS customer to review forecasting results and gather business insights
  • Act as a liaison between customers and forecasting teams to communicate learnings and business insights
  • Escalate issues and risks to Director of Insights, Planning & Optimization & Director of Managed Services
  • Perform internal forecast reviews to assess forecast quality and identify areas of improvement
  • Provide industry insights and leading practices to FaaS customers
  • Provide development guidance and feedback to onshore and offshore Forecasters
  • Propose ideas to improve internal forecasting process and customer-provided forecasting service
  • Collaborate and coordinate cross-functional support of other business categories
  • Generate and present clear and concise summaries of your work to improve forecast accuracy to inform demand decisions
  • Oversee weekly and monthly forecast parameter maintenance


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, supply chain or relevant fields
  • A minimum of five year experience in demand planning, forecasting or an analytical role
  • Three years of customer-facing consulting or customer service experience
  • Deep understanding of supply chain, inventory management practices and procedures
  • Experience working with and leading offshore team from remote locations
  • Ability to travel to client site or offshore forecasting locations
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Capability to multitask, self-directed, prioritize work, excellent follow through and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and advanced Excel knowledge
  • Knowledge of Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF) or other top-tier, industry-leading forecasting solution

  • Up to 50%
