Your Role as a Logic Sales Director
There is never a typical day at Logic, but that’s why people love it here! The Sales Director is responsible for leveraging Logic Information Systems’ reputation and sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase Logic’s market share. The Sales Director is a self-motivated team player who excels at cultivating strategic relationships while developing new business. Using a combination of retail industry expertise, strong business acumen and a successful track record of selling to C–level executives, the Sales Director will lead the origination and closing of sales opportunities in a specific territory across Logic’s offerings. This person will also lead and drive proposals and SOWs from the beginning to the end.

Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Deep retail industry acumen
  • Leverage existing C-level network within the retail industry in addition to building and maintaining relationships with new retail clients
  • Understand Logic’s go-to-market strategy and the core positioning for the solution areas that we implement
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales and strategic objectives in assigned accounts, executing according to the go to market plan
  • Maintain appropriate opportunity pipeline to build confidence in achieving expected sales targets
  • Generate Consulting Services sales by identifying client needs, assessing how Logic can provide solutions and closing the transaction
  • Responsible for the creation of Request for Proposal (RFP), Client “First Contact” Sales Decks and Statement of Work (SOW) with assistance from pre-sales, solution executives and implementation teams
  • Participate in and stay current with current industry and market trends that impact business and economic factors by establishing relationships with Oracle Sales Representatives and the Solution Management Executives
  • Qualify and develop value-add propositions for clients
  • Ensure client commitments are understood, documented and communicated for successful delivery

Project Delivery

  • Ensure a smooth transition from the pre-sales process to kick off the project
  • Assist in providing the project team with knowledge transfer from the pre-sales process

Practice Management

  • Provide mentoring, and advice to those that may be interested in a sales career
  • Assist in the recruitment of staff as needed


  • 5+ years’ of demonstrated success selling complex application solutions and consulting services to retail clients
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining pipeline and attaining sales targets
  • Experience with Oracle, Oracle partners, or similar service or platform (SAP, Infor, JDA,…) in the retail industry
  • Practical knowledge of positioning and complex transformation consulting programs
  • Strong understanding and ability to convey the value of project management and implementation methodologies
  • Ability to organize effective oral and written presentations and communicate effectively with clients
  • Ability to analyze client needs accurately and articulate the Logic value proposition in response
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Active relationships with Oracle Retail Sales Representatives are a plus
  • Big 5 consulting experience is a plus
  • Readiness to travel both domestically and globally, up to 80% of the time

Knowledge/Skills /Certifications

  • Knowledge of Oracle technology products and/or willingness to learn about new solutions
  • Working Knowledge of Salesforce
